About The Author

(Diane) D.J. Knedgen is a concerned citizen of the world and a medical professional with many hobbies and interests, among them a passion for politics and for writing fiction.

Her debut novel — The Chimera Collusion, a thriller about a young woman coerced into being a pawn in an audacious political conspiracy — is the natural outcome of both.

D.J.’s current work in progress, like its predecessor, focuses on the message of personal freedom and liberty, as well as the dangers of apathy, in an entertaining way. (She figures that if she can save just one person, it’ll be worth it. Wink, wink.) She’s a fan of action-packed suspense sprinkled with healthy doses of sex, violence, and twists and turns and she writes the same way.

With unpublished manuscripts piling up in her computer, many ask why she bothers. The answer comes easily. She considers it great fun to be able to lie outrightly and outrageously; to place others in unthinkable situations; to malign someone mercilessly; and to hold power over life and death. What could possibly be better than that?

Born and raised in Michigan, she currently loves life with her longtime boyfriend in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada. When not working, writing, reading, and visiting children and grandson scattered hither and yon, she likes to travel and hone her skills as a photorealism artist. Additionally, D.J. is a member of the Libertarian Fiction Authors.
